The A-Code is a premium tag with an engraved QR code and 8-digit code (e.g. ABEEDEMO). It's perfect for keys, suitcases or backpacks and automatically includes a HIVE-PASS for 365 days.

No account needed – you can simply buy and gift the A-Code. After scanning the QR code, you're guided step by step through registration and immediately receive your 365-day HIVE-PASS.

For glasses, laptops & narrow surfaces

The B-Code is an ultra-thin text sticker (only approx. 2 mm wide) that fits on glasses temples, laptop edges or other narrow surfaces. Instead of a QR code, it carries a short shortcode that the finder enters on bee‑id.com.

How it works:
Apply sticker → finder reads "Found? bee‑id.com › BKELGOXR" → enters the code on the site → anonymous chat opens.

The C-Code is the extension for Bee-ID members with an active HIVE-PASS. Available as a tag, sticker or (coming soon) NFC tag – it does not include its own subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Does the finder need to install an app?
No. The finder simply scans the QR code with their regular camera app or enters the code on bee-id.com. The chat opens directly in the browser – no download, no registration.
Can the finder see my name or address?
No. Bee-ID is 100 % anonymous. The finder only sees that they've found a lost item – and can send you an anonymous message. Your personal data is always hidden.
What's the difference between A-, B- and C-Code?
The A-Code is an engraved tag with a QR code and directly includes a HIVE-PASS for 365 days – ideal as a starter or gift, no existing account needed.

The B-Code is an ultra-thin slim sticker (approx. 2 mm) without QR, working via shortcode entry on bee‑id.com – perfect for glasses, laptops or car keys.

The C-Code is an extension for existing members with an active HIVE-PASS. It has no own subscription – so you first need an active account.
Can I give the A-Code as a gift?
Yes! The A-Code can be purchased and gifted without an existing account. Whoever scans the QR code is simply guided through registration and immediately receives their HIVE-PASS for 365 days. That makes the A-Code tag the perfect gift.
What happens when my HIVE-PASS expires?
When your HIVE-PASS expires, your codes are paused – a finder can no longer reach you. However, your account and all data remain fully intact. You can renew at any time and be active again immediately.
Can I use multiple codes in one account?
Yes. With an active HIVE-PASS you can add as many C-Codes to your account as you like – one for each item you want to protect. Start with the A-Code tag and then add C-Code stickers or tags as needed.
In which countries does Bee-ID work?
Worldwide. Bee-ID is available in 10 languages. Whether your keys are found in Portugal or Japan – the finder can communicate with you directly.
